INA - BAGHDAD
Minister of Planning Nori al-Dulaimi met the Deputy Representative for UN Secretary-General in Iraq, Marta Ruedas and the EU Ambassador to Iraq, Ramon Blecua on Thursday.
They discussed enhancing the support given to the essential projects for citizens, especially in Basra and Nineveh.
Al-Dulaimi asserted the importance of starting from the projects of water, electricity and job opportunities.
He also praised the contributions of the International Community in countering terrorism in Iraq and the participation in proving stability and reconstructions as well as rebuilding the infrastructures as he hoped that this will keep going to maintain the sustainable development in the country until 2013.
The delegation confirmed the continuous support to the vital projects in Iraq.
