CBI joins the sustainable network of IFC

Central Bank of Iraq – CBI announced upon joining the Sustainable Banking Network of International Financial Corporation - IFC.

This came to adopt the method of developing the workflow and to apply the standard of sustainability that was mentioned in the governance inventory guide, stated the CBI.

The sustainability standards include Work Activities; the control of banks and environmental risks; and the Trade Operations; the environment and Social Impact; in addition to the Human Rights.

It also included Women Economic Empowerment, Financial Inclusiveness, Governance, Building Capabilities, Mutual Cooperation and reporting.
