The Nasr Coalition Head Haidar Abadi discussed today with the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani enhancing the mutual relations between Iraq and Iran.
A statement issued by Abadi’s office mentioned the Iranian President was received by Abadi in his office where both sides discussed the political status in Iraq and the region.
Abadi confirmed on the importance of cooperation with Iran and enhancing the bilateral relations, as well as maintaining what achieved of triumph against terrorism, the statement showed.
From his side, Rouhani praised Abadi’s leadership of the past period which witnessed achieving huge military victory against ISIS terrorism, the statement concluded.
