The President of the Republic Dr. Barham Salih stressed that the establishment of firm legislation is a basic and joint action between the three authorities to stop corruption, close its competitors, combat its means and recover smuggled and stolen money.

He pointed out in a speech on Saturday at the opening of the new Legislative Chapter of the House of Representatives that corruption and terrorism hinder construction and development, stressing the importance of solidarity and mutual action between the authorities, especially the legislative and judicial branches.

"All our efforts in our various locations will be wasted without responsible and courageous action against corruption and corruption, and we must realize that the patience of citizens will not be open," he added.
