Minister of Planning announces the Ministry's strategy to protect the national product

Minister of Planning  Nuri Sabah al-Dulaimi announced new measures to be implemented during the current year to protect the consumer and the national product, and the ministry's efforts to develop mechanisms to examine local and imported goods .

In his statement, Al-Dulaimi said that during his meeting with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, The Inspector General and the head of the Central Agency for Standardization and Quality Control to discuss the mechanisms of developing the work of laboratories at the border ports and to enhance cooperation with the companies inspecting the imported goods in the country of origin ,He said.

He pointed out that the strategy of the Ministry of Planning will focus on consumer protection, and ensure access to revenue through the development of the balance of trade, and work to develop the capabilities and potentials of the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control.
