Iraq President Barham Salih received the Kuwaiti Minister of Trade Khalid al-Radhwan in his office on Wednesday.
Salih asserted the importance of the mutual cooperation between the two countries and the means to enhance the economic growth saying, “It is important to follow up with the results of the Kuwait Conference to Reconstruct Iraq”
He also added, “Iraq is serious in terms of being opened to Arab, regional and international communities, economically and industry wise”
He praised Kuwait’s assistance in bringing back the IDPs to their homelands in the damaged areas.
On his part, Radhwan confirmed his country’s keenness to enhance the relations with Iraq and the Kuwaiti companies is ready to invest in the country and to help to reconstruct the infrastructure.
