Iraqi Minister of Trade Muhammed al-Ani met the Kuwaiti counterpart Khalid al-Radhwan on Wednesday to discuss the mutual economic cooperation between the two countries.
Al-Ani praised this visit and considered it as a step to break the ice between Iraq and Kuwait and to reactivate the mutual Trade and Economy.
He also explained that the goal behind this visit is to frame out the agreements between the two countries especially that Iraq now is opened to the world and the free market.
Al-Radhwan explained that there is a real intention to start new real and honest cooperative agreements and to strengthen the economic relations, saying “Kuwait has all the needed capacities to create real opportunities and agreements with Iraq,”
