The Diwaniyah Misdemeanor Court ruled on Wednesday afine of one million dinars against an employee who violated the law of real estate registration. The Ministry of justice said in a statement (received by Ina today), issued by the General Inspector of the Ministry Kareem Al-Izzi: “the Associate of the First Division at the Directorate of Real Estate Registration in Diwaniyah, namely “J.M.J”; violated Article (108)- Paragraph (4) of the Real Estate Registration Law. He accepted an external endorsement for the sale and purchase of a property”. The General Inspector added: “the endorsement took place at the house of a relative opf the employee, while the Complainant was among those who signed the sales papers. The court issued the judgment on the convict while present, and granted the Complainant the right to complain to seek compensation in civil courts”.
