The Cabinet held its weekly meeting under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, and several draft resolutions were prepared for the agenda.
The Cabinet approved a campaign to improve the water, electricity and infrastructure services in the province of Basra and speed up implementation and completion.The Council of Ministers continued to complete the draft rules of procedure of the Council of Ministers beginning with Chapter VII (Article 28) concerning the Office of the Prime Minister.
The Council decided to add a representative to the Audit, and Investigation Committee, which is established under the Law of the Fund for the Recovery of Iraq's Money No. 9 of 2012.
The Council also decided to continue to provide the basic needs of displaced families and return of various relief materials. In order to complete the maintenance of the gas units, the borrowing from the Iraqi Trade Bank was decided according to the contract with GE and the Ministry of Electricity.
The Council approved the recommendations of the concerned meeting to resolve the issue of the transfer of wheels and other properties carried by directorates transferred from the ministries to the provinces under the law.
