The First Deputy of the Parliament’s Speaker Hassan Kareem Kaabi confirmed today on the importance of activating the intelligence efforts and dealing with the information seriously to get rid of terrorism.
A statement issued by the media office of the First Deputy of the Parliament’s Speaker said that Kaabi met today the Deputy Commander of the Joint Operations Major General, Abdul Ameer Yar Allah, in the command headquarters, where both sides discussed anti terrorism efforts, and security situations in Baghdad and governorates, especially the liberated ones.
Kaabi affirmed on the role that the local residents in availing important security information, besides observing the suspected cases and report them as soon as possible, the statement added.
The First Deputy warned against the increasing of “Daesh” civilians kidnapping cases in different areas, as it happened lately in Nakheeb, besides permeation attempts to enter Iraqi territories, requesting to free all kidnapped individuals and arresting those involved in such crimes, the statement concluded.
