The head of state law coalition Nouri al-Maliki received Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi in his office on Monday.
During the meeting, according to a statement by Maliki's office, they discussed the latest political and security situations in the country, and exchanged views on developments in positions on the regional and international arenas, as well as discuss the issue of the presence of US forces.
The two sides stressed the need to unify efforts among the national forces to complete the construction of state institutions, implementation of reconstruction plans, Re-displaced and support the economic development.
As well as they agreed to call for a meeting of the blocs leaders with the presidencies in order to unification the discourse and approval the basic directions and the requirements of the next stage guarantor to develop the state administration and institutions and to meet the rights of the people and its will to protect the foundations and origins of the democratic process in the country.
