Parliament Speaker Mohammed Al-Halbousi said on Sunday that Iraq accomplished the mission and defeated terrorism, that the Arab People look up to a joint unity; to end the state of rivalry and discord among brothers.
In his speech during a hearing about Sudan at the sessions of the Arab Parliament, held in Cairo he said: “we support all actions that would consolidate the stability in Sudan, and give the brothers there a chance to boost democracy, to enable the fulfilling of Sudan’s role with international partners to confront the engines of extremism and stand up against all its causes.. to give Khartoum a sufficient chance to ward off charges of supporting terrorism; coming from here and there.. we hope these meetings would result in a true Arabic consensus in all issues, in all fields and directions.. that they would help to end any rivalries among brothers in our big Arab house..”.
