Ministry of Interior confirmed today the prohibition of entering the juveniles to public cafes.
The spokesman of the ministry, the Major General Saad Maa’n said in a statement received by INA that the Directorate of Juvenile Police called all cafes’ owners to execute the valid regulations issued by the related authorities concerning the permitted times of opening and closing their shops, which they have been acknowledged before, to ensure no juveniles entry, or those who dropout from schools, to such places.
Maa’n added that Juveniles Directorate told café’s owners to put identification pieces, written clearly on them “no entry for those who are under 18 years old”, and whoever dissents the regulations would be subject to legal accountancy.
