The President Barham Salih opened today the Baghdad International Book Fair.
INA correspondent to the fair said that the activities of the Baghdad International Book Fair started today with participation of 650 publishing houses from 23 countries, distributed between original and commissioned participators.
More than two million books are exhibited in the fair, and the fair is held on more than ten thousand square meters of the land of Baghdad International Fair, the correspondent added.
INA correspondent referred that the fair is taking high media patronage by Iraqi Media Network.
Worth mentioning that Baghdad International Book Fair is considered one of the annual cultural activities held in the Iraqi Capital since 1978.
