Mr. President Dr. Barham Saleh confirmed the important of developing relation between Iraq and Norway in serve of the common interests.
Media office of the president of the republic mentioned today in a statement, which INA received a copy of, that “through Saleh’s welcome for Norwegian foreign minister Eini Ericsson, mentioned that Iraq is looking forward seriously for Arabic and international openness, and developing its bilateral relations to rise and growth and rebuild its destroyed cities after defeating terrorist ISIS gangs “.
Mr. President confirmed that “to move from defeating terrorism stage to rebuilding one requires ending all country crises and reformed the political system and recover the citizen’s confidant to his government, that couldn’t happened without brothers and friends assistant and support to political and economical reform”, he expressed his thankful for Norway contribution among the international Alliance against terror.
From her side minister Ericsson has renewed her country support to Iraqi people and its government and pursuit to developing the relations between the two countries in political, economical, petroleum and energy fields, showing the Norway companies and businessmen to contribute in rebuilding the country”.
The Prime Minister stressed the need to increase electricity production and stability during the coming summer and to fulfill the ministry's commitments to improve the electrical system.
