President Barham Saleh stressed on Monday the importance of active participation of Korean companies and businessmen to invest in sectors construction, energy, industry, reconstruction and construction sectors of liberated cities and other areas.
In a statement received by Iraqi News Agency (INA), President Saleh said during his meeting with Korean special envoy Han Pyeong-do and his delegation accompanying praised the bilateral relations between the two countries and continuous development.
For his part, the Korean envoy confirmed his country's stand with Iraq and serious desire to strengthen relations between the two countries, expressing South Korea's willingness to contribute in construction at various fields in order to promote prosperity in Iraq.
