Minister of Water Resources Gamal Al-Adli visited the Ahwar El-Fohoud and El-Chebayish marshes in Dhi Qar and briefed the people on the actual needs of irrigation projects.
The correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency said that Al-Adly opened the RO water station in the district of Al-Fahd of the four desalination plants within the Kuwaiti grant and the amount of 499 million dinars. Al-Adly talked about securing the necessary water releases to submerge all areas of the marshes especially in the coming summer, noting that the ministry has prepared a plan to reach the Turkish side and reach positive agreements that serve the water balance in Iraq in general.
