President Salih also expressed the need... : “for Canadian companies and businessmen to invest in Iraq, to make use of the Canadian Experiences in industrial and agricultural fields, to widen the scope of scientific, cultural, and academic exchange between the two countries; evaluating the role of Canada and the Canadian effective role in the international coalition against terrorism”.
In turn; Governor Payette renewed... “Her country’s stand to support the Iraqi people, in achieving Stability and advancement, to building of cities; especially liberated ones. Assuring her government’s readiness to invest and take part in construction and the rise movement Iraq is witnessing; especially in Energy, Oil, Agriculture, and Industrial fields”. Mutual issues were discussed during the meeting; along with regional and international developments.
The Prime Minister stressed the need to increase electricity production and stability during the coming summer and to fulfill the ministry's commitments to improve the electrical system.
