Foreign Relations Committee – FRC announced that during the next few hours, the issue of the Iraqi detained students in Azerbaijan will be solved.
“I have contacted the Iraqi Ambassador to Azerbaijan Fadhil al-Shwaili and he promised to solve the issue of the 40 Iraqi students detained in the Azerbaijani jails,” said FRC member, Iqbal Abdul Hussien.
She also called on the students who desire to study abroad to avoid using the fake offices and depend on the authorized offices by an official certificate from the government or to call the concerned embassies to facilitate the process and the applications.
A company proclaimed that it dropped the 28 students to Azerbaijan in addition to 5 other “girls” students to study in the country and hosted them in a remote area until the housing papers to be ready.
This caused the police to arrest them for breaking the rule of residence in the country.
The Prime Minister stressed the need to increase electricity production and stability during the coming summer and to fulfill the ministry's commitments to improve the electrical system.
