The minister of communications Naeem Al - Rubaie discussed today with Australian ambassador Joan Landesn the ways of developing relations between Iraq and Australia in communications and information technology sectors.
Communications ministry mentioned in a statement , which INA received a copy of, that “Al – Rubaie welcomed the ambassador Joan Landesn and both of them discussed setting up a workshop and the participate of Australian companies to invest in the coming ministry projects which need sober company to offer better service.
Added “the cause of the internet badness service in Iraq is the contracting companies delay in the implementation of projects and the default life ends of the instruments and Equipments, and the ministry work on reviewing all the contracts with the companies, and its intent to end partnership with some of them because of the bad internet service”.
The statement followed “the ministry has many projects which need investment one of them Iraq Satellite Project, the bank account (Electronic payment), rehabilitation of optical cable, building new unites to ministry employees, mail and banking services, established culture center in each governorate, as well Infrastructure projects”.
