INA correspondent said:‘The DOM initiative aims at developing the Information and Communication sectors,’ noting that ‘the conference witnesses Arab and International participation, in the forefront of which is Houlin Zhao, the Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union.
INA correspondent added that “There have been many notable media institutions and personalities present in this conference, including Mujahid Abul- Hail, the head of the Iraqi Media Network (IMN), and Moaid Allami, the President of the Federation of Iraqi Journalists.”
On his part Ali Al-Kuailidi, the CEO of the Information and Communication Committee in Iraq, said that licensing the 4th Generation is in its final stages and we shall see the 5th and 6th Generation services very soon, calling on the government to take decisions that may allow jobs for people with special needs in the institutions inside Iraq.’
Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi received the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Youssef Al-Othaimeen in Jeddah.
The Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi confirmed today Iraq’s keen to establish cooperation and interests exchange relations with all the neighboring countries since it represents a center of gravity in the region.
