Al-Kaabi calls on the government to redouble the efforts to rebuild Nineveh

The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Hassan Karim al-Kaabi described the post-victory phase as more important than the victory itself, noting that Nineveh Province was the scene of most of the destruction caused by the wars.

Al-Kaabi said during a meeting with the governor of Nineveh, When we mention the liberated areas, we start in Nineveh, knowing that it is the city that suffered the most. After liberation, the government should have taken quick steps to restore life

He added that there are files so far not resolved among them the file of the missing and the sick and displaced and the destruction of infrastructure and the provision of services and others, and promised to make his first visit to this province, which Aziz described the hearts of all Iraqis.

For his part, said the governor of Nineveh that the city of Mosul is currently much different than it was a year ago or more, where the service departments and ministries' projects have been able to rehabilitate the important joints, but there are files that require faster movement and serious steps to resolve.
