CMC supports Iraq’s right of water claiming

National Communications and Media Commission of Iraq – CMC attended the 10th session of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Media Ministers in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The attendees have discussed applying the decisions of the Council in terms of the Arab League and the ministerial levels.

CMC called for issuing a decision to organize a media-sponsored campaign and make special panels to highlight the importance of Arab water security.

It also called to focus on the Iraqi water claims to save the country’s environment and prevent drought and desertification that may cause harm to water, agriculture and animal sectors.

All the members of the Executive Office of the Council approved this decision and ordered to implement it.
