President Barham Salih arrived in Ankara today Thursday with an official delegation.
His Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan was on top of officials who received President Salih.
A huge formal reception was made for the President, where the Iraqi and Turkish national anthems were played, and then guards of honor were paraded in front of the two Presidents, while the artillery fired twenty-one rounds to welcome Salih.
President Salih will discuss with his Turkish counterpart and senior officials the bilateral relations and a number of common issues between the two countries.
