Salih and Abd Al Mahdi DISCUSSES THE REGIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENTS AND EVENTS

 President Barham Salih discussed with Dr. Adel Abdul Mahdi the Prime Minister the latest developments in the security and political situations in the country. 

During a meeting in Baghdad on Wednesday January 2, 2019, the President and the Prime Minister discussed the developments and events on the regional and international arenas and emphasized Iraq's firm stance towards them. 
They also made a joint coordination on the visit of the President to Turkey tomorrow, Thursday.
The two sides reviewed the government program, which was agreed upon among the political blocs and the necessity to support it and to make it successful. 
The President and the Prime Minister underscored the importance of completing the ministerial formation.
President Barham Salih called for the need to achieve what the citizens aspire to of improving services and providing employment opportunities, stressing on the unification of the national ranks and strengthening cohesion among the national forces.
