The statement goes on to add that ‘The republican edict no. 81, by reference to articles 47/3, and 48 of the Law of Judicial Regulation, declares the assignment of five judges in the federal court of cassation after being voted on and accepted by the Iraqi parliament in the light of the nomination by the Supreme Judicial Council. The judges are: Kadhim Abbas Habib al-Khafaji, Muhammad Qasim al-Janabi, Numan Karim Ahmad al-Bayati, Hasan Fouad Munim al-Khafaji and Muhammad Abd Ali Shadhan al-Ghanimi.’
Theresa May said on Friday she would quit, setting up a contest that will bring a new British prime minister to power who could pursue a cleaner break with the European Union.
