PM Adel Abdul Mahdi received Vladimir Putin’s envoy Ana Cazantzuva on Sunday.
The Russian envoy expressed Putin’s regards and desire to enhance the mutual relations between the two countries.
Abdul Mahdi praised the Russian positive stances for Iraq and the Russian role in terms of counter-terrorism that the two countries are complaining from and how it forms to be a mutual enemy for both.
“Terrorism must not be tolerated and it is highly important to separate between the humanitarian cases and the terrorist crimes as well as not to allow indulging women and children in countering terrorism,” stated Abdul Mahdi.
He also explained that Iraq lost huge numbers of children during the period of fighting terrorism and their families must be taken into consideration.
Russian envoy offered thankful words for Iraq to be so cooperative in the regard of Children care.
Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali Al-Hakim on Thursday discussed with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi coordination regional and international issues.
