The Pope meets with the President of the Region and the Head of Government

Upon his arrival in Erbil, Pope Francis met today, Sunday, with the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani and Prime Minister Masrour Barzani.
On Sunday morning, Pope Francis arrived in Erbil, on the third day of his visit to Iraq.
The correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani were received by Pope Francis."
