INA - Baghdad The Government Spokesman Saad Hadithi said to INA correspondent today that The Prime Minister Haider Abadi achieved success in his official visit to Turkey. Hadithi affirmed that both governments reached mutual understanding leading to agreeing on Iraq’s water shares that suffice its needs of agriculture and other aspects without hurting our country’s interests. Iraqi Government depends on the principle of the mutual interests, including the economical and commercial ones, to manage the water shares issue in order to guarantee Iraq’s water quantities, Hadithi showed. The Spokesman added that Abadi and his escort delegation discussed other issues with the Turkish side, such as the borders, PKK and increasing the commercial exchange, confirming that Turkey now comprehends and agrees largely with Iraq’s political views after years of crisis between the two neighbouring countries.
