Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein confirmed that security stability has an impact on international relations.
"Security stability has an impact on international relations. Whenever there is security stability, there are distinguished relations with countries abroad as it helps others to come to the country and build economy and communicate with Iraqi society as well as building other agricultural and industrial sectors," said Hussein in a statement to Al-Iraqiya News, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
He pointed out that "international solidarity with Iraq, the people and the government was important," noting that "countries are ready to support the Iraqi people and the government in their fight against Daesh terrorist gangs"
